Did you know that April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day? According to The World Health Organization, it is believed that 1 in 160 children throughout the world lives with an autism spectrum disorder. Although these children’s teeth and facial development appear the same as a child without autism, the reality is that they tend to have a higher risk for oral health problems.
