Dr.
Rozas is honored to have been chosen again as one of
2009’s Super
Dentist.
 The
prestigious list of Super Dentists was published in the December, 2009,
issue of Texas Monthly and is listed online at
www.superdentists.com.
This is Dr. Roza's 2nd year to be nominated and selected for the list of
Super Dentist. This is a special honor for Dr. Rozas, as
the nomination process is based on one simple question sent to 9000
dentists in Texas: “If you need dental care, which dentist would you
choose?”
Once nominated, a panel assists in the selection process allocating
points for experience, honors and awards, pro-bono and community
service, and education. Once these points are tallied, the top 10% of
nominated dentists in their respective categories make the annual list
of Super Dentists.

We are
proud to announce that our practice was selected for the 2009 Best of
Coppell Award in the Specialized Dental Practitioners category by the
U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).
The
USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local
businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies
companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success
in their local community and business category. These are local
companies that enhance the positive image of small business through
service to their customers and community. Winners are determined
based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data
provided by third parties.

Kick off to
Kindergarten Party!

A
great time was had by all at our 7th annual “Kick Off to
Kindergarten Party”! The party was held at Everybody Fits in
Coppell. There was dance, gymnastics, foam pits and more to be
enjoyed by our incoming kindergarteners along with their
siblings and friends. We wish all of our awesome
kindergarteners a great year of learning and fun!
Congratulations to our lucky prize winners who went home with
baskets filled with goodies for kindergarteners AND their moms
and dads!

Texas Business Wins U.S. Chamber of Commerce Award
Melissa V. Rozas, DDS is a Blue Ribbon Small Business
WASHINGTON, DC— Melissa V. Rozas, DDS in Coppell, Texas has been honored
today with a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award.
Nominated by the Coppell Chamber of Commerce, the award was given in
recognition of the company’s dedication to excellence in several
categories.
“Winners of the Blue Ribbon Small Business Award represent the country’s
finest small business success stories,” said Tom Donohue, Chamber
president and CEO. “Small businesses are the backbone of America’s
economy, representing more than 99% of all employers, creating
three-fourths of all new jobs, and accounting for more than one-half of
the nation’s gross domestic product.”
The Blue Ribbon Small Business Award, sponsored by Sam’s Club, was
designed to honor businesses that excel in a variety of selection
criteria, including financial performance and business history, staff
training and motivation, community involvement, customer service, and
business planning.
Winners of the award from around the country will be honored at
America’s Small Business Summit 2008 April 16 – 18, in Washington, D.C.
The award is part of the Chamber’s Small Business of the Year selection
process. One Blue Ribbon Small Business will be selected from each of
seven regions as a finalist for the U.S. Chamber Small Business of the
Year Award. The finalists will be announced on March 7.
“The Blue Ribbon Small Business award allows us to honor the tireless
efforts of America’s small businesses,” said Donohue. “Melissa V. Rozas,
DDS proves that a business can make a significant difference in its
community.”
The U.S. Chamber is the world’s largest business federation representing
more than
3 million businesses and organizations of every size, sector, and
region.
