Dr. Rozas feels strongly about
being involved in the local community, giving back and dental
education. Below are some of the many ways that Dr. Rozas and her
staff have impacted the communities around them.

Dr. Melissa Rozas Treats CMSE 8th
Graders to Performance of “13”, benefitting Taylors Gift Foundation
Dr. Rozas teamed up with
orthodontist Dr. Frank Stich and treated the entire 8th grade
class of Coppell Middle School East to a performance of “13.” Proceeds
from the performances of “13”
benefited Taylor’s Gift Foundation,
a foundation which raises awareness for youth organ donation. Taylor
Storch was a 13 year old 8th grade student at Coppell Middle
School East who passed away in a tragic snow skiing accident. We
were honored to be able to participate in this way.

Cash For Candy, 2009

Dr. Rozas’ 4th
Annual Cash for Candy drive was held on November 5, 2009. This
year’s drive
was the largest and most successful yet, collecting
1850 pounds of candy! The collected candy
has been distributed to
area churches, food pantries, retirement homes and sent in care
packages to the troops overseas. This year, Coppell Middle School
East also contributed
postcards for the soldiers thanking them for
their service to our country. In addition to the
candy, these
postcards were included in the care packages.
Thanks kids for donating your candy to a good cause and keeping
your smiles healthy!

Preschool and
Elementary School Programs
Every February and October our staff makes a concerted effort to get out
and educated local children on how to have a healthy smile.
We do this with a fun skit involving our office mascot,
Sammy the Shark. The kids love it…and so do we!
