Dr. Rozas feels strongly about being involved in the local community, giving back and dental education. Below are some of the many ways that Dr. Rozas and her staff have impacted the communities around them.
Dr. Rozas' 8th Annual Cash for Candy & Food for Families drive was held November 7, 2013. We are so thankful to all of our patients and their families, as well as other community members, who made this year's drive such a huge success! This year's drive collected 1290 lbs. of Halloween Candy and 250 lbs. of canned goods. The candy was donated to local charities and community service groups. The canned goods went to the North Texas Food Bank to help close the gap on hunger in North Texas. Thank you to our wonderful patients for your caring and generosity!
Dr. Rozas’s office is a proud supporter and partner of Taylor’s Gift. Taylor’s Gift is a foundation founded in 2010 that is dedicated to increasing organ donation and supporting those touched by organ donation through its mission to Regift Life, Renew Health and Restore Families. Taylor’s Gift was created by the parents of Taylor Storch after her life was cut short in a tragic skiing accident at the age of 13. In those dark hours, Taylor’s parents allowed her to give the gift of life through organ donation. Since then, Taylor’s Gift has increased the awareness of the importance of organ donation. Taylor was a special young lady and patient of Dr. Rozas’. We are proud to support the foundation in her honor.

Dr. Rozas and her office believe in volunteering in the community where we work. One way we are able to do this is by participating in the City of Coppell’s “Keep Coppell Beautiful-Adopt a Location” program. This program is designed to empower citizens, organizations and businesses to keep streets and parks litter-free through a volunteer effort. Dr. Rozas and her staff have participated in this program since 2006. The area we are proud to keep litter free is on Sandy Lake Road between Lodge and Moore—right in front of our office!
Every February and October our staff makes a concerted effort to get out and educated local children on how to have a healthy smile. We do this with a fun skit involving our office mascot, Sammy the Shark. The kids love it…and so do we!
